Bikini Berlin is Berlin’s concept mall of choice. The former swimwear factory first opened its doors in 2014 and has since made a name for itself with its mixture of independent and established design stores.
As Creative Concept, I’m tasked with overseeing their big annual brand campaigns, as well as their annual Holiday activity.
Seasonal Christmas Campaign 2020
Every year, Kemmler Kemmler identifies an exciting artistic talent with whom to collaborate on a series of wrapping paper designs. This concept is then expanded into an architectural installation in-store where customers can have their Christmas gifts wrapped for free.
For the 2020 edition, Berlin-based artist duo CROSSLUCID celebrated five years of festive gift-wrap crossovers. Their surreal designs were then turned into an immersive installation at the Berlin concept mall.
I was in charge of guiding visitors through the experience with copy, as well as advertising the shopping centre’s festive services with a small campaign.
The following campaign was played out over Bikini’s social media channels as well as Out Of Home. It could be spotted all over Berlin – from underground platforms to train displays (Berliner Fenster) and advertising columns.
